A friend of mine turned me onto this site.. I have been thinking about
lighting up my bike but don't know to much about it... The site below has
NEON and LED.. My question is which is better/more reliable. Both of these
come with a "lifetime if it burns it gets replaced" type warranty but I
don't want to be changing out neons every other ride or two... Anyone have
any experience with NEON they can share?

Well, you're in the right place. Most of the riders I know in here
have neon lights on their bikes. >> Stay informed about: Lighting question |

I disconnected mine. I'm changing over to a bug zapper and my
alternator can't handle both.

Actually, no.. I am looking to light up my 2000 Heritage Softail. I have
heard a lot of horror stories about neon tubes breaking and I am looking for
any information/experiences with them..
Personally, I think the neons look better than the LEDs, but as I stated, I
really don't want to be replacing tubes every other week. Also, I want to
put the neon plug wires on my bike, but if they are prone to breakage, it
sure would suck to be riding out to Vegas and blow a tube in the middle of
the desert..
I am thinking of going with the ultimate engine kit in Blue..Which consists
of both NEON and LED lighting,
and possibly either red or blue plug lights

Then may I suggest you posting the actual url to the site <a rel="nofollow" style='text-decoration: none;' href="http://www.boogey.com" target="_blank">www.boogey.com</a> and
NOT the commissioned (scum suckin, cookie trackin) url? And that you should
contact some of the "dealers/installers" with your questions. They are
listed on the site.

Talking to a dealer only gets their opinion of "let sell you some stuff"...
I am looking for actual people who have done it and can give me some info
from experience..
As to the link.. I am not much of a internet guru.. I just cut and paste
the link he sent..

I think you answered your question yer self as you said you have heard allot
of horror stories about the neon tubes breaking. My off the cuff response is
that the bikes I personally know of that have accent lighting use leds. Why
I couldn't say because I'm not one to light up my ride and I don't have
"show" needs, so I don't ask. Get out to some shows and ask the bike owners
why they choose what they got?

I have one friend who has neon and has blown 3 tubes but not from this
company. As to the spark plugs wires, I don't know anyone using them...
With my luck, some a-hole would think they were cool and snake them off my
bike leaving me high and dry.. Probably would be a good idea to keep a
spare set of normal wires in my saddlebags..

I don't know what state you live in but here in Florida you cannot have red
or blue lights. They are for law enforcement and fire vehicles only. Check
the law in your state before you spend a bunch of money on something that
may get you some tickets.

Hey, we don't care about your alternate lifestyle, or your friends... but
you shouldn't make fun of fat people.

Not an enumerated one. Some of them like chrome, but I don't know one
Asshole(tm) that would like those.
